I've set up a chat channel (as a Capsuleer) which allows Dust Mercenaries to communicate with Capsuleers solely for their orbital strike needs. Mind you, with NDA still active, the only information currently allowed to be posted is in regards to your particular Orbital Strike Needs.
a.) How do I join the channel?
Simply add the channel 'Orbital Strike Network' and you're good to go.
b.) What is the purpose of this?
The channel was made so that Dust mercenary corporations can communicate with Capsuleers who are able to give orbital support for their particular Faction and vice versa.
c.) How do I get a Capsuleer's support?
Post up the information regarding the particular battle with as much time to spare as possible. The longer the Capsuleer has to set up a ship and get to the location, the better. A good format is this:
Associated Militia (Gallente) > System (Vittenyn) > Planet (Planet VI) > District (7) > Time (16:00)
d.) Will they charge me and my corporation to give support?
Possibly, but it'd be senseless as we can't transfer ISK yet.
e.) Will anyone see me in this channel?
All Dust Mercenaries/Capsuleers will show in the Dust 514 game. In Eve Online, only people who post a message in the channel will show.

Oh, another one? There was LFOB on SiSi for that ;) -Shrug- Wasn't well advertised then. but everyone used it just as we use DUST OB now. join up no use and having your own club
Isn't that the nature of Eve Online..? We should just change the channel names to associate with individual faction warfare groups.. One for Gal/Minmatar and another for Amarr/Caldari. |
